I’ve been seeing and loving this tag a lot, so big thanks to Siobhan over at Siobhan’s Novelties for tagging me π
The rules:
- Link back to the creator (Read By Tiffany)
- You can use their graphics if you want (I chose to do that because they’re super cute)
- Tag 7 people at the end

I don’t read a lot of books I would consider lighthearted, but I think Cat Sebastian’s A Little Light Mischief is a good pick. (Hey, it even has “light” in the title π ) This was a super cute f/f romance novella, and I really liked it.

I also have to go with Ninth House by Leigh Bardugo for this one. So. Much. HYPE. I’m not saying it’s undeserved, there’s just a lot of it.

The plural of this one threw me off and I had a hard time thinking of books with multiple friendships I enjoyed, but after an hour of thinking about this, I realized that I am a dumbass and literally thought about The Raven Boys by Maggie Stiefvater like four times before it actually stuck and I realized it works for this. I need more coffee π

Okay, this is another one I’m having a hard time with because I tend to read books with suffering π Oh! I thought of one, huzzah! His Majesty’s Dragon by Naomi Novik omg. I don’t know how many times I said something along the lines of, “My precious babies/cinnamon rolls/etc.” while reading this.

I had to swap which question I used The Gilded Wolves by Roshani Chokshi for because I could not think of anyone besides Laila for this one Laila is a pastry chef, if I remember correctly.

Sawkill Girls by Claire Legrand–a YA horror novel–might seem like a weird choice, but holy crap I loved this book! (I reviewed it and gushed about it here.) I seriously finished it and immediately wanted to read it again, and I’m still screaming about it seven months after reading it.
Thank you so much for the tag I will do it as soon as I can fit it in.

Sawkill Girls was sooo good, in my opinion, and I keep trying to get everyone to read it haha. I hope you like A Little Light Mischief! I’ve been looking for good f/f historical romances, too, and that one was super cute.
